You can feed them flakes or cichlid pellets or brime shrimp live or frozen. If you feed them live be aware that after hatching the brime shrimp eggs they loose their nutrition value after the first six hours. So only hatch the amount you plan to feed at any given time. As for my fish well I feed them bread from time to time and they love it. I tried the blood worms but they did not seem to take well to them and it would Stay in the tank to long for comfort. You can also feed your parrots and or cichlids trout chow. They seem to like this.
